This fileset failed derivation because the info file is in .rtf format rather than .txt. You should have gotten an error report mailed to you but it might have been caught by your spam filter.

So - if you Edit item > Item manager > checkout, you should be able to log in, delete the .rtf and upload a .txt with the same information. Then check it in, go to Edit item > Item manager > derive and that'll fix things up!

Aaah....thanks again....

But I'm still having a problem figuring out how/where I'm supposed to go to delete the .rtf & then upload the corrected .txt file.

I've never made a mistake before & it isn't seeming so intuitive to just correct it.

Thanks again in advance.

If you log back in via FTP (go to Edit item > Item manager > checkout), you should see a folder with all the files that you uploaded. Just trash/delete the .rtf once you're connected, upload a .txt file, and click on the link to check it back in.

Thanks again for everyone's help. I logged back in thru FTP & found my folder & threw away the .rtf & replaced it w/ a .txt file instead. I reclicked on the "click when done" link.

Funny thing is is that in that folder, I didn't see any of the .shn files I had uploaded. Will I need to reup them I wonder?

Hm...that's odd. I logged in myself to look at it and the .rtf was still there. Fixed the problem though - just keep it in mind for next time. :)

EDIT: You also had included a line for the .rtf in your md5...I took it out as well. md5's should only include .shn files or else things can get wonky.

Hey, thanks so very much. I've made sure to note what I did wrong so I won't do it again! But thanks again.

See ya 'round!
